We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control activities on major metro or rail infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining project quality systems in accordance with contract requirements, approved standards and applicable legislation. This role will work closely with project management, engineering, construction, design, subcontractor and client teams to ensure that all works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include developing and managing the Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans, method statements, quality procedures and audit schedules. You will oversee inspections, testing, material approvals, technical submissions, non-conformance reporting, corrective and preventive actions, and the close-out of quality observations. The role will also involve monitoring subcontractor and supplier performance, reviewing quality documentation, supporting design and construction reviews, coordinating internal and external audits, and maintaining accurate quality records and handover dossiers. You will provide regular quality reports, identify trends and risks, and promote a proactive culture of continuous improvement across the project.

Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction, quality management or a related discipline, together with a recognised quality qualification such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, IRCA or equivalent. Extensive experience in quality management on metro, railway, tunnelling, stations, systems or other major transport infrastructure projects is essential. A strong understanding of rail construction processes, inspection and testing requirements, document control, commissioning and handover procedures is required. You should be confident interpreting technical specifications and contract documents, leading audits and investigations, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent communication, reporting, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage priorities in a complex, fast-paced project environment.
