Lead Planner Buiding Stora Projekt

We are seeking an experienced Lead Planner to coordinate and drive planning activities across major building and construction projects. In this role, you will establish and maintain integrated project schedules from early development through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. You will work closely with project managers, design teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure that plans are realistic, aligned and actively managed throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include developing baseline schedules, defining activities and milestones, monitoring progress, analysing deviations and preparing forecasts and recovery plans. You will facilitate planning workshops, coordinate interfaces between disciplines and ensure that critical dependencies, risks and resource constraints are clearly identified. You will also review contractor and supplier schedules, challenge assumptions where necessary, and provide accurate planning information for progress meetings, management reporting and decision-making. Maintaining high-quality schedule documentation and supporting consistent planning processes across projects will be an important part of the role.

To succeed in this position, you have several years of experience in planning or project controls within large-scale construction, infrastructure or building projects. You are confident working with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or equivalent tools, and possess a strong understanding of project planning principles, construction sequencing and change management. Experience with earned value, progress measurement, risk analysis and schedule reporting is advantageous. You communicate clearly in English, build effective relationships across organisational boundaries and can present complex information in a concise and practical manner. You are structured, analytical and proactive, with the confidence to take ownership, identify potential issues early and support project teams in delivering safely, efficiently and on schedule.
