We are seeking an experienced Site Manager or Works Supervisor to lead asphalt construction projects in the Gothenburg area. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and following up daily production activities, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards. You will work closely with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, project managers and site teams to keep operations running smoothly from preparation through completion.

Your responsibilities will include preparing work schedules, allocating personnel and machinery, monitoring progress and productivity, and ensuring that materials and resources are available when needed. You will coordinate asphalt paving activities, manage changes on site and help resolve practical issues quickly. Quality assurance, cost control, documentation and regular reporting will also form an important part of the position. You will ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations, project specifications and health, safety and environmental requirements. As a visible leader on site, you will support and motivate employees while promoting a professional and safety-focused working environment.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in asphalt, road construction, civil engineering or a related field, preferably in a supervisory, foreperson or site management position. You should have a good understanding of paving processes, site logistics, production planning and workplace safety. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to make sound decisions under changing conditions. A practical, solution-oriented approach and the ability to build effective working relationships will be highly valued. A valid driving licence and good computer skills are required. Knowledge of Swedish is advantageous, while the ability to communicate clearly in English is essential. The position involves working outdoors and may require flexible hours during busy production periods.
