You will ensure that programmes, budgets and quality expectations are met while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from pre-construction and mobilisation through to handover and final account.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, budgets, risk registers and reporting systems.
  • Coordinate design teams, subcontractors, suppliers and site-based personnel.
  • Monitor progress, costs, quality and resources, taking prompt action where issues arise.
  • Lead regular progress meetings and provide clear updates to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Review and manage contracts, variations, procurement activities and payment processes.

About you

A recognised qualification in construction management, civil engineering, project management or a related discipline is desirable. Relevant professional accreditation would be advantageous.

You should have a strong understanding of construction methods, contract administration, cost control and programme management. Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and build effective working relationships.
