You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, local authorities and other stakeholders to coordinate project activity, manage information and help ensure that schemes are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed objectives. The position offers exposure to a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the management of land development projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate project programmes, budgets, appointments, reporting and risk registers.
- Support the procurement and management of professional consultants and contractors.
- Monitor progress against agreed timescales, costs, quality standards and deliverables.
- Review technical information, drawings, reports and development documentation.
- Attend project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and track actions to completion.
- Build effective relationships with clients, design teams, statutory bodies and other stakeholders.
- Identify potential issues and support the implementation of appropriate solutions.
- Contribute to planning, development appraisals, infrastructure coordination and handover activities.
About you
You will have experience supporting the delivery of development, construction, infrastructure or property projects, together with a sound understanding of project management principles. A relevant degree or professional qualification in project management, construction, civil engineering, surveying, planning or a related discipline is desirable.
We are looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and confident communicating with a range of audiences. You should be comfortable managing competing priorities, analysing information and working proactively with limited supervision. Experience of development consultancy, housebuilding, infrastructure delivery or a client-side project environment would be advantageous.
What is offered
This role provides varied project exposure, professional development and the opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists. A competitive salary and benefits package is available, together with support for relevant training and career progression.
