You will manage daily site operations, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, programmes and applicable legislation. Key responsibilities

  • Supervise site development activities, including earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities, foundations and associated infrastructure.
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, site teams, plant and material deliveries.
  • Monitor progress against the construction programme and implement corrective action where required.
  • Ensure all works comply with health and safety, quality assurance and environmental requirements.
  • Review method statements, risk assessments, inspection plans and construction documentation.
  • Work with engineering teams to resolve design queries, technical issues and site constraints.
  • Maintain accurate daily records, progress reports and site documentation.
  • Support inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.

About you

A sound understanding of earthworks, utilities, drainage, ground conditions and site logistics is essential, together with the confidence to lead teams and make informed decisions in a demanding setting.

You should hold relevant construction qualifications and a recognised site safety certification, with strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and industry standards. Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills are required, as is the ability to interpret technical drawings and manage competing priorities.

This role may involve working outdoors in varied conditions and travelling between project areas. In return, it offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality developments while working within a professional and collaborative project team.
