You should have a sound understanding of applicable design standards, regulations and health and safety requirements, together with familiarity with drainage, highway and utility design principles. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, drainage modelling packages or comparable engineering software is desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. A proactive approach, willingness to learn and confidence working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team will be highly valued.
