You should be confident managing budgets, programmes and delivery teams, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ability to interpret technical information, identify risks and make sound commercial decisions will be important. A relevant qualification in project management, engineering, construction or a related discipline is desirable, alongside membership of an appropriate professional body.
