Project Manager II
Project Manager II
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead the planning, delivery and successful completion of complex projects across a range of stakeholders. This role will suit a highly organised professional who can manage competing priorities, communicate clearly and deliver results within agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.
You will take ownership of projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring that objectives, deliverables and dependencies are clearly defined and understood. Working collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers and senior stakeholders, you will provide structure, resolve issues and maintain momentum throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers and governance documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, allocating resources and monitoring progress against agreed milestones.
- Manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, escalating matters appropriately when required.
- Prepare clear progress reports, status updates and presentations for stakeholders and governance forums.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops and decision-making sessions, ensuring actions are recorded and followed through.
- Monitor expenditure, manage change control and support the delivery of projects within approved budgets.
- Promote effective ways of working, continuous improvement and consistent project management standards.
- Ensure project outcomes meet business requirements, regulatory expectations and agreed quality criteria.
About you
You will have demonstrable experience managing medium to large-scale projects, ideally within a complex or regulated environment. You should be confident working with senior stakeholders and able to translate strategic objectives into practical delivery plans. Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to influence others without direct authority.
A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM or Agile certification, would be advantageous. Experience using project planning and reporting tools, managing budgets and delivering change across multiple teams is also desirable.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and collaborative project professional to make a visible contribution, develop their expertise and deliver meaningful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
