Reference: 40jqb5g7fa84k17yiw4h

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead trenchless pipe rehabilitation projects using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion, ensuring that work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required technical and quality standards. This role will involve working across a range of infrastructure, wastewater and utility projects, coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and specialist site crews.

Key responsibilities will include reviewing contracts, drawings, specifications and site conditions; preparing project programmes, budgets, procurement plans and risk assessments; and coordinating surveys, cleaning, CCTV inspections, lining, curing, reinstatement and testing activities. You will monitor progress, costs, productivity and quality, provide regular updates to clients and senior management, and manage variations, extensions of time, commercial issues and project documentation. You will also ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements, relevant CIPP standards, permits and client procedures. Supporting site teams, resolving technical or operational issues, and maintaining strong client relationships will be central to the role.

Applicants should have proven project management experience within trenchless technology, underground utilities, civil engineering, wastewater or a closely related sector, with practical knowledge of CIPP installation and rehabilitation methods. A relevant qualification in civil engineering, construction management or project management is desirable, together with experience managing budgets, programmes and subcontractors on technically complex projects. Strong organisational, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to interpret technical information and make sound decisions under pressure. Familiarity with construction health and safety legislation, quality assurance processes and project management software would be advantageous. The role may require travel to project sites and occasional overnight stays, so a flexible approach is expected.
