Assistant Land Development Project Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Land Development Project Manager to support the planning, coordination and delivery of residential, commercial or mixed-use land development projects. This role is suited to a motivated property or construction professional who is keen to build project management experience while contributing to projects from early feasibility through to completion. You will work closely with consultants, contractors, authorities, landowners and internal stakeholders to help ensure that development programmes are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved requirements.

Responsibilities will include assisting with project feasibility assessments, due diligence, budgeting, procurement and programme management; coordinating planning applications, technical reports, surveys and design information; monitoring consultant and contractor performance; maintaining project documentation, schedules, risk registers and action trackers; and supporting the management of budgets, variations and project reporting. You will help identify and resolve design, approval, construction and delivery issues, attend project meetings and site inspections, and ensure that relevant health, safety, environmental and quality standards are maintained. The role will also involve liaising with local authorities, utility providers and other statutory bodies to support timely approvals and infrastructure delivery.

Applicants should have experience in land development, property, construction, engineering, planning or a closely related discipline, supported by a relevant qualification or equivalent practical experience. You will need strong organisational and communication skills, sound commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with development approvals, civil infrastructure, consultant coordination, project controls and construction processes is desirable. Proficiency in standard project management and office software, strong attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential.
