Electrical Project Manager - Multi Family

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of electrical projects within the multi-family residential sector. This role will manage projects from pre-construction and planning through procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout. The successful candidate will coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The role will also involve supporting estimating and pre-construction activities, identifying project risks, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations, and overseeing testing, inspections, commissioning, and final handover. A strong focus on safety, quality control, client satisfaction, and effective communication is essential.

Applicants should have proven experience managing electrical construction projects, ideally involving multi-family, residential, mixed-use, or similar large-scale developments. A thorough understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, contract administration, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls is required. Experience with project management and construction software, reading technical drawings, and coordinating multiple active projects will be highly valued. The ideal candidate is organised, commercially aware, proactive, and confident leading teams in a fast-paced environment. A relevant electrical, engineering, construction management, or trade qualification is preferred, along with appropriate industry certifications or licensing. The ability to travel to project sites and work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and field teams is also required.
