We are seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer – Water/Wastewater to support the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure projects that improve water quality, system reliability, and community resilience. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain practical experience across water supply, wastewater collection, treatment, stormwater, and related civil works while working alongside experienced technical professionals.

Responsibilities may include preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates; assisting with the design of pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, storage systems, drainage networks, and site improvements; reviewing plans and technical documents; supporting field investigations, condition assessments, inspections, and construction administration; and coordinating with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, regulators, and other project stakeholders. You may also contribute to hydraulic modelling, surveying activities, permitting submissions, design reviews, and the development of project schedules and budgets. A commitment to safe working practices and high-quality technical delivery is essential.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or a closely related engineering discipline, with relevant coursework or project experience in water, wastewater, hydraulics, hydrology, or infrastructure design. Internship, co-op, laboratory, or academic project experience is desirable. Familiarity with engineering design and analysis software, AutoCAD or Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and technical documentation will be beneficial; experience with hydraulic modelling tools is an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn are essential. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and occasionally travel to project sites. Eligibility for professional engineering registration, or a clear intention to pursue it, is preferred.
