Concrete Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of commercial, industrial, and civil concrete projects from initial planning through to completion. This role will be responsible for managing project scope, programme, budget, quality, safety, and client expectations while coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site personnel. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the required technical and contractual standards.

Key responsibilities include reviewing tenders, drawings, specifications, and contracts; preparing project programmes, budgets, procurement plans, and resourcing requirements; and monitoring progress against agreed milestones. You will coordinate site activities, manage subcontractor performance, approve materials and construction methods, and resolve technical or operational issues as they arise. The role also involves maintaining accurate project documentation, tracking costs and variations, supporting commercial reporting, conducting progress meetings, and providing regular updates to stakeholders. A strong focus on health and safety, quality assurance, environmental compliance, and risk management will be essential throughout each project.

Applicants should have proven project management experience within concrete construction, civil engineering, structural works, or a closely related field. A solid understanding of reinforced concrete, formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, curing, inspections, and construction sequencing is required. You will need strong organisational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, together with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in a demanding site environment. Experience with project scheduling, cost control, construction software, and relevant health and safety requirements is desirable. A relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline will be advantageous. The successful candidate will be practical, commercially aware, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
