A strong understanding of the unique demands of live events, high-profile sporting environments, and time-sensitive delivery schedules will be important.
Applicants should have significant experience managing large-scale, high-visibility projects, preferably within sports, entertainment, hospitality, events, construction, facilities, or a related field. A bachelor’s degree in project management, business, engineering, construction management, or a comparable discipline is preferred, along with a recognised project management certification such as PMP. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, and risk management is required. The ideal candidate will be an organised and confident communicator who can influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, make sound decisions under pressure, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-moving environment. Experience with project management software and collaboration tools is also desirable. The position may require flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event days.
