We are seeking an experienced Production Manager/Site Manager to lead daily operations at a busy manufacturing site. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective production while maintaining high standards of quality, delivery and employee engagement. You will manage site activities from planning through to completed production, ensuring that resources, equipment and processes are aligned with operational targets.

Your responsibilities will include leading and developing production teams, setting priorities and monitoring performance against agreed objectives. You will coordinate production planning, staffing, maintenance and material availability, while identifying and resolving operational issues quickly and effectively. A key part of the role will be driving continuous improvement, reducing waste and downtime, and introducing structured methods to improve productivity and process reliability. You will also ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, environmental standards, quality procedures and relevant legislation. Regular reporting, budget follow-up and collaboration with other functions, including purchasing, logistics, engineering and sales, will be an important part of your work.

We are looking for a confident and hands-on leader with previous experience in production management, site management or a similar operational role within a manufacturing environment. You have a strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, lean principles and performance measurement. Experience of leading teams, managing change and working with occupational health and safety matters is highly valued. You communicate clearly, make well-informed decisions and are comfortable balancing strategic planning with practical problem-solving on the shop floor. A structured, results-oriented approach and the ability to build trust at all levels are essential.
