Asset Management Associate

We are seeking an Asset Management Associate to support the effective oversight, performance and strategic management of a diverse portfolio of assets. This role will suit an analytical and commercially minded professional who can combine strong financial skills with excellent organisation and communication. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external advisers, operators, lenders and other partners to help maximise asset value, manage risk and support the delivery of business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include monitoring asset and portfolio performance, preparing budgets, forecasts, valuations and investment papers, and analysing financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks. You will assist with regular reporting and management information, review business plans and operating results, and contribute to recommendations relating to capital expenditure, refinancing, acquisitions, disposals and other strategic initiatives. The role will also involve maintaining accurate records, coordinating reporting timetables, tracking key performance indicators and ensuring actions are followed through to completion. You may be required to support due diligence, prepare presentations for senior stakeholders and contribute to process improvements across the asset management function.

Applicants should have experience in asset management, investment management, real estate, infrastructure, corporate finance or a related analytical discipline. A degree in finance, economics, accounting, business or a similar subject is desirable, alongside strong financial modelling and Excel skills. You will need excellent attention to detail, the ability to interpret complex information and confidence presenting clear, commercially focused recommendations. The successful candidate will be proactive, collaborative and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Experience with portfolio reporting systems, valuation methodologies, investment analysis or performance benchmarking would be advantageous. Professional qualifications or progress towards a relevant qualification will also be welcomed.
