Investment Associate

We are seeking an Investment Associate to support the evaluation, execution and monitoring of investment opportunities across a range of sectors and strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals and contribute to all stages of the investment lifecycle, from initial screening and due diligence through to transaction execution, portfolio monitoring and exit planning.

Key responsibilities will include conducting market, industry and company research; building and maintaining detailed financial models; preparing valuation analyses, investment papers and presentations; coordinating financial, commercial, legal and operational due diligence; and supporting the preparation of materials for internal investment committees. You will also monitor portfolio company performance, analyse financial and operational results, track key performance indicators and assist with regular reporting. The role will involve collaboration with external advisers, management teams, lenders and other stakeholders, as well as identifying relevant market trends and potential investment opportunities.

Applicants should have experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, transaction services or a related field, together with strong analytical and financial modelling skills. A degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or a similar discipline is preferred, and relevant professional qualifications or progress towards them would be advantageous. You will need excellent attention to detail, sound commercial judgement and the ability to communicate complex information clearly in both written and verbal formats. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and integrity.
