Mid-Level Biologist, Botanist

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mid-Level Biologist, Botanist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plant biology and ecology, conducting research and field studies to advance understanding of plant species and their ecosystems. Responsibilities will include designing and implementing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing detailed reports and presentations on findings. The successful applicant will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support conservation initiatives and contribute to the development of sustainable practices.

In addition to research duties, the Mid-Level Biologist, Botanist will be responsible for maintaining laboratory and field equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and supervising junior staff and interns. A solid understanding of plant taxonomy, physiology, and genetics is essential, as well as proficiency in statistical analysis software and data management tools. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a passion for environmental conservation and education.

A Master’s degree in Biology, Botany, or a related field, coupled with at least three years of relevant experience, is required. Experience in conducting fieldwork in diverse habitats and familiarity with GIS applications will be advantageous.
