We are seeking a motivated Civil/Structural Engineer-In-Training to support the design, analysis, and delivery of civil and structural engineering projects. This entry-level role is suited to a graduate or early-career professional who is eager to develop practical experience under the guidance of experienced engineers. You will contribute to projects across areas such as buildings, infrastructure, industrial facilities, site development, and structural rehabilitation, while building your technical knowledge and professional capability.

Key responsibilities will include preparing engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, reports, and technical documentation; assisting with structural analysis and the design of concrete, steel, timber, and foundation systems; supporting civil design activities such as grading, drainage, utilities, and site layouts; and reviewing plans to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. You may also participate in site visits, field investigations, condition assessments, construction support, inspections, and coordination with clients, contractors, architects, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines. Maintaining organised project records, meeting deadlines, and communicating technical information clearly will be important aspects of the role.

The successful candidate will hold a degree or diploma in civil, structural, or a closely related engineering discipline and be eligible for, or actively working toward, professional engineering registration. Previous internship, co-op, consulting, design, or construction experience is an advantage but not essential. You should have a sound understanding of engineering fundamentals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, or similar tools is desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgement, initiative, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are essential. The role may require occasional travel to project sites and the ability to work safely in office and field environments.
