We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, Construction Services to lead the successful delivery of construction, refurbishment and facilities-related projects from initial planning through to completion. This role will suit a highly organised professional who can manage multiple priorities, coordinate diverse stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include developing project scopes, programmes, budgets and procurement strategies; appointing and coordinating consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers; and managing tendering, contract administration and construction activities. You will monitor progress against milestones, costs, risks and performance requirements, providing clear reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders. The role will also involve reviewing designs and specifications, coordinating approvals and statutory requirements, overseeing site activities, managing variations and resolving issues that may affect delivery. You will ensure appropriate health, safety, environmental and quality procedures are followed throughout each project, and lead handover, commissioning, defect management and close-out activities.

To be successful, you will have substantial experience managing construction or capital works projects, ideally across commercial, public, infrastructure or complex operational environments. A relevant qualification in construction management, project management, engineering, building or a related discipline is desirable, along with practical knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, cost control and project risk management. You will be a confident communicator and negotiator, capable of building effective relationships with internal teams, consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities. Strong planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently while maintaining accurate documentation and transparent project governance. Professional accreditation or membership of a relevant industry body will be regarded favourably.
