Construction Manager- Offshore Wind (all genders)
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the successful delivery of offshore wind construction activities from preparation through to completion. In this role, you will coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure that works are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule and in accordance with approved designs, contractual requirements and applicable legislation. The position may involve regular offshore assignments, site visits and close collaboration with marine, engineering, procurement, commissioning and consenting teams.
Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining construction execution plans, work packages, schedules, budgets and resource plans. You will monitor progress, productivity, quality and costs, identify risks and interfaces, and implement corrective actions where required. You will lead construction coordination meetings, review method statements and risk assessments, support permitting activities, and ensure that offshore operations comply with health, safety, environmental and quality standards. You will also manage interfaces between foundation installation, cables, offshore substations, turbines, marine logistics and onshore infrastructure, while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting project performance to senior stakeholders.
You should have significant experience managing complex construction projects, preferably within offshore wind, offshore energy, marine infrastructure or a related industrial environment. A degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, civil, mechanical, electrical or marine engineering is desirable, together with strong knowledge of offshore construction methods, contract management, risk control and relevant safety regulations. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and international stakeholders is essential. You will be an organised and decisive leader with excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure and adapt to changing project priorities. Professional fluency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous. A willingness to travel and work offshore for extended periods is expected.
