We are seeking a Mid-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer/PM to support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role is suited to a technically capable professional who can manage project tasks, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to successful outcomes across projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction, and commissioning.

Responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and tender documentation; developing water distribution, wastewater collection, pumping, treatment, and related infrastructure solutions; and coordinating design activities across multidisciplinary teams. You will assist with project scopes, schedules, budgets, risk registers, procurement, and quality control, while maintaining clear communication with clients, contractors, regulators, and internal team members. The role may also involve site inspections, construction support, responding to technical queries, reviewing submittals, and monitoring progress against approved requirements. You will be expected to identify issues early, recommend practical solutions, and help ensure that projects meet applicable standards, environmental requirements, and health and safety obligations.

Applicants should have a degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, or a closely related engineering discipline, along with several years of relevant experience in water and/or wastewater infrastructure design and project delivery. Professional registration or progress toward registration is desirable. Experience with industry design standards, hydraulic modelling, technical software, and common engineering tools is expected, as is the ability to interpret drawings and manage competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication, sound commercial awareness, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach are essential. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of assigned work, supporting junior staff, and contributing to business development through proposals, client relationships, and technical presentations.
