We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead the safe, efficient and successful delivery of major construction and engineering projects. This role will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure that work is completed to the required standards, programme and budget. You will act as a key point of contact between site personnel, contractors, project management and other stakeholders, providing clear direction and maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and productivity.

Key responsibilities will include planning and supervising site activities, monitoring progress against agreed schedules and coordinating labour, materials, plant and subcontractor resources. You will review work packs, method statements, risk assessments and inspection documentation, ensuring that activities are properly planned and carried out in accordance with approved procedures and relevant legislation. The role will involve identifying and resolving technical, logistical and resourcing issues, supporting the management of variations and non-conformances, and maintaining accurate daily records and progress reports. You will also lead site meetings, promote effective communication and contribute to project reviews and improvement initiatives.

Applicants should have substantial experience in a supervisory or management role within construction, engineering, infrastructure, energy or a similar project environment. A strong understanding of construction methods, health and safety requirements, quality assurance processes and contractor management is essential. You will need proven experience of coordinating complex works, interpreting drawings and specifications, and delivering projects in a controlled and commercially aware manner. Excellent leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills are required, together with the confidence to make decisions under pressure and build positive working relationships at all levels. Relevant technical qualifications, site safety certifications and experience working on large-scale or technically demanding projects would be advantageous. The role may require travel to project sites and flexible working arrangements depending on operational requirements.
