We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of engineering projects from initial concept through to completion. Working closely with project managers, design teams, contractors, suppliers and clients, you will help ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with planning, coordination and practical project delivery.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing technical documentation, specifications, drawings, programmes and reports; coordinating engineering activities across multiple disciplines; monitoring project progress, costs, risks and resources; and supporting the resolution of technical issues as they arise. You will contribute to design reviews, procurement activities, site inspections, testing and commissioning, while ensuring that work complies with relevant legislation, industry standards, quality procedures and health and safety requirements. You will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders, attend project meetings, track actions and provide clear updates to senior colleagues and clients.

Applicants should have a degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline, together with experience supporting engineering or construction projects in a technically demanding environment. You will need strong organisational and communication skills, sound commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with project management tools, engineering software, risk assessments, change control and technical reporting would be beneficial. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential, as is the confidence to work independently and make informed decisions. Professional registration, or a willingness to work towards it, would be advantageous. In return, this role offers opportunities to develop your technical and project management expertise while contributing to the delivery of high-quality, complex projects.
