The Superintendent will serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project teams, trade partners, inspectors, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining short-term and overall project schedules; leading daily coordination meetings; reviewing plans, submittals, and scopes of work; monitoring workmanship and jobsite progress; and identifying and resolving construction issues before they affect cost or schedule. Effective communication with project managers, architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors is essential.

Qualified candidates should have several years of experience supervising commercial construction projects from mobilisation through completion, with demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and quality control. Experience with ground-up construction, renovations, or multiple commercial building types is valuable. Strong leadership, organisation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents. Proficiency with construction management or scheduling software is preferred. A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to and work consistently at active jobsites in the Fort Myers area are required. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of motivating diverse teams while maintaining accountability for project performance.
