Project Manager
Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a range of projects from initiation through to completion. This is an opportunity for an organised and proactive professional to manage varied priorities, coordinate stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.
You will take ownership of project planning and delivery, providing clear direction to internal teams, suppliers and external partners. The role requires someone who can build strong working relationships, communicate confidently at all levels and identify practical solutions when challenges arise.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets and risk registers.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables and success measures.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure responsibilities are clearly understood.
- Monitor progress, costs, quality and resources, taking corrective action where required.
- Prepare regular project updates, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support procurement activity and manage relationships with contractors, suppliers and partners.
- Ensure that project documentation is accurate, current and maintained in line with agreed processes.
- Lead project meetings, encourage collaboration and maintain effective decision-making.
- Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned to improve future delivery.
About you
You will have proven experience managing projects successfully in a complex or fast-paced environment, ideally across multiple workstreams. A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM or Agile certification, would be advantageous, although relevant practical experience will also be considered.
You should be highly organised, commercially aware and confident managing competing demands. Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and influence others without direct authority. Experience using project management software and standard reporting tools is also desirable.
What is offered
This role offers the opportunity to make a visible contribution to important projects while working with a collaborative and supportive team. You will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, together with opportunities for professional development and career progression.
