Land Development Admin Assistant

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Land Development Admin Assistant to provide administrative and coordination support across a range of land development projects. This role will suit someone who enjoys working with documents, data, deadlines and multiple stakeholders, and who can maintain accuracy while managing competing priorities. You will assist with the smooth progression of projects from initial planning through to completion, supporting internal teams, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities.

Key responsibilities will include maintaining project files, registers and databases; preparing, formatting and distributing correspondence, reports, meeting minutes and project documentation; coordinating meetings, inspections and appointments; monitoring action items, approvals, permits and key project deadlines; and assisting with the preparation and submission of planning, development and infrastructure-related documents. You will also help track invoices, purchase orders, consultant information and project costs, respond to routine enquiries, update spreadsheets and systems, and provide general administrative assistance to the land development team. Confidentiality, document control and consistent compliance with established processes will be important aspects of the role.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in an administrative, project support, property, construction, planning or land development environment, although candidates with strong transferable experience will also be considered. You will demonstrate excellent organisation, written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel, is required, along with the confidence to learn project management, document control or property systems. An understanding of development processes, planning terminology or construction documentation would be advantageous. You should be proactive, reliable and comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team. A relevant qualification or equivalent practical experience, together with the right to work in the applicable location, is desirable.
