This is a large-scale, site-based role with responsibility for managing the full scope of HSR delivery across multiple packages.

The RoleThis role is focused on the delivery of track and overhead contact system works within a high‑speed rail programme, with particular emphasis on civil works interfaces. The position will play a key role in ensuring technical compliance, constructability, and integration between track, OCS, and associated civil structures.
The role is well‑suited to an experienced rail professional with strong on‑site and project delivery experience, particularly within contractor or EPC environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical oversight and engineering support for track and OCS works within the HSR civil works scopeEnsure alignment between track systems, OCS, earthworks, structures, and stations, managing key interfacesReview and support design packages, method statements, and construction sequencingOversee construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and project requirementsSupport coordination between civil works teams, systems contractors, and international stakeholdersParticipate in technical meetings, inspections, and site coordination activitiesAssist with issue resolution related to constructability, tolerances, access, and phasingSupport testing, installation readiness, and handover activities relevant to track and OCS packagesSkills & ExperienceStrong experience in track engineering and/or OCS systems on major rail projectsSolid understanding of civil works interfaces (earthworks, structures, slabs, viaducts, stations)Experience on high‑speed rail or large‑scale mainline rail projects is strongly preferredBackground working for main contractors, EPC contractors, or delivery partnersProven ability to operate in complex, multi‑contractor project environmentsComfortable working site‑based in challenging delivery programmesQualificationsDegree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related discipline10+ years in rail infrastructure deliveryInternational project experience, ideally within the Middle East or Africa, is advantageousProfile SoughtThe ideal candidate is a hands‑on rail delivery professional with strong technical credibility in track and OCS, combined with practical experience managing civil works interfaces on site. The role is site‑based in Egypt and requires immediate availability or short notice.
