You will carry out reliability, availability and maintainability assessments, including failure mode, effects and criticality analysis, fault tree analysis, hazard analysis and reliability block diagram development. You will support the creation and management of hazard logs, safety requirements, safety evidence and assurance cases, ensuring that risks are identified, controlled and traceable throughout the project. You will also review design changes, investigate failures and operational issues, and recommend practical improvements to increase fleet performance and reduce safety or maintenance risks.

The successful candidate will have experience in a RAMS, systems engineering, safety assurance or rolling stock environment, with a sound understanding of relevant railway standards, legislation and industry practices.
