Mechanical Supervisor - Hydropower (DACH Region)

I'm currently working with a leading player in the hydropower sector who is looking to bring on an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to support ongoing and upcoming turbine installation projects across the DACH region.

The Role - What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role on-site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating on-site activities to optimise resource use and meet project requirementsEnforcing safety regulations and quality standards, including delivering training where neededSupervising and supporting mechanics and site personnelOverseeing the deployment, use, and maintenance of machinery and equipmentPreparing and sharing progress reports with project managers and technical teamsYour Profile - What You BringCompleted technical education (apprenticeship or HTL) in mechanical engineering or a related disciplineSeveral years of hands-on experience in a similar roleStrong expertise in water turbine installation is a major advantageComfortable using IT systems, particularly construction/project management toolsSolid understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read technical drawingsStrong organisational and leadership capabilitiesFluent in German and EnglishWillingness to travel and stay on-site across the DACH regionWhat's On OfferA structured onboarding programme with comprehensive trainingThe chance to shape and contribute to a growing, future-focused hydropower divisionA collaborative and open work environment where your ideas are valuedClear opportunities for personal and professional development
