We are seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role will oversee projects from initial scope development through construction, commissioning, and closeout, ensuring that work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required technical and regulatory standards. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, utilities, and regulatory authorities, and provide clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include developing project execution plans, budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, risk registers, and quality management processes. You will review technical deliverables, monitor progress and financial performance, manage change control, resolve project issues, and ensure compliance with applicable legislation, codes, permits, and health and safety requirements. The successful candidate will also support business development by contributing to proposals, fee estimates, client presentations, and the development of long-term client relationships. Where required, you will mentor project managers and technical staff, promote best practice, and help strengthen internal project delivery procedures.

Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in civil, environmental, water resources, or wastewater engineering, together with substantial experience managing water and wastewater projects. Professional registration or chartered status is desirable, as is experience with treatment facilities, pumping stations, pipelines, collection systems, water networks, or related infrastructure. Strong commercial, contractual, organisational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and lead teams effectively. Experience with design-build, design-bid-build, or other collaborative delivery models will be advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgement, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable infrastructure are required.
