We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Water to lead the successful delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role will be responsible for managing projects from initial planning and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. You will oversee scope, programme, budget, quality, health and safety, risk and stakeholder relationships, ensuring that projects are delivered to the required technical and commercial standards.
Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining detailed project plans, budgets and resource schedules; coordinating multidisciplinary design and delivery teams; appointing and managing consultants, contractors and suppliers; and monitoring progress against agreed milestones. You will identify and mitigate project risks, manage change control and commercial issues, prepare clear reports for senior stakeholders, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and environmental requirements. The role will also involve supporting business development activities, contributing to tender submissions and developing strong relationships with clients, regulators, local authorities and community representatives.
Applicants should have substantial experience managing major water, wastewater or related civil infrastructure projects, ideally within a regulated or complex delivery environment. A strong understanding of project governance, contract management, procurement and construction methodologies is essential, together with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple delivery partners. You will be an effective communicator and confident decision-maker, able to resolve issues, influence stakeholders and maintain focus in a changing environment. A relevant qualification in civil engineering, project management, construction or a related discipline is required; professional accreditation or formal project management certification would be advantageous. Strong commercial awareness, excellent organisational skills and a commitment to delivering safe, sustainable and high-quality outcomes are also essential.

We are seeking an Assistant Wastewater Project Manager to support the successful planning and delivery of wastewater infrastructure projects. Working alongside experienced project managers, you will help coordinate activities from initial design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated infrastructure professional to develop project management experience while contributing to essential public services and sustainable water management.
Key responsibilities will include assisting with project programmes, budgets, risk registers, progress reports and change control processes; coordinating consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders; reviewing technical documentation, drawings, specifications and method statements; and helping to ensure that works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved standards. You will attend site meetings, monitor progress against agreed milestones, support the resolution of technical and commercial issues, and maintain accurate project records. The role will also involve assisting with procurement activities, contract administration, quality assurance, environmental compliance and the preparation of reports for senior stakeholders.
Applicants should have experience in civil engineering, wastewater, water infrastructure, construction or a related technical environment, together with an understanding of project delivery principles.
