We are seeking an experienced Principal Environmental Planner to lead the delivery of complex environmental planning projects and provide trusted advice on environmental assessment, approvals, and strategic planning matters. You will manage projects from inception through to approval and implementation, developing environmental assessments, impact statements, management plans, and supporting documentation. Key responsibilities include interpreting and applying relevant environmental legislation and planning instruments; coordinating technical specialists, consultants, stakeholders, and approval authorities; identifying environmental risks and opportunities; preparing clear, evidence-based recommendations; and ensuring projects meet statutory, quality, budget, and program requirements. You will also contribute to business development, prepare proposals and fee estimates, support strategic planning initiatives, and mentor junior and mid-level staff.

The successful candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental planning, environmental science, urban and regional planning, or a related discipline, with substantial experience delivering environmental planning and approvals projects. You will have strong knowledge of applicable planning and environmental legislation, assessment processes, and regulatory frameworks, together with excellent report-writing, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience leading project teams, managing competing priorities, and providing high-quality advice to senior decision-makers is essential. A proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to professional standards, sustainability, and positive environmental outcomes will be highly valued.

We are seeking a qualified On-Call Archaeologist to assist with various archaeological projects on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in archaeology, offering expertise in fieldwork, research, and data analysis. Responsibilities include conducting site assessments, overseeing excavation processes, and documenting findings in accordance with established protocols. The On-Call Archaeologist will collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with local and federal regulations while maintaining the integrity of archaeological resources.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be tasked with preparing detailed reports and presentations of research findings, as well as contributing to the development of project proposals. A solid understanding of artifact identification and preservation techniques is essential. Candidates should be comfortable working in diverse environments and may be required to travel to various project sites. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are crucial for this role. A Master’s degree in archaeology or a related field, along with relevant field experience, is preferred.
