We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water/Wastewater Section Head to oversee our water and wastewater operations. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of our water treatment plants and wastewater facilities. You will develop and implement strategic plans, oversee budgeting and resource allocation, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Your expertise will guide the team in optimizing processes, improving system reliability, and enhancing overall service delivery to the community.

Key responsibilities include conducting regular assessments of system performance, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending innovative solutions. You will collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective project management and timely completion of upgrades and maintenance activities. As a leader, you will mentor staff, promote professional development, and foster a culture of excellence and accountability. A strong focus on customer service and community engagement will also be essential in this role, as you will represent the organization in communications with the public and regulatory agencies.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field, along with significant experience in water and wastewater management. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
