Responsibilities
Assist the Station Manager for the overall supervision of architectural aspects of the Station construction while complying with all the applicable Health & safety and environmental requirements;Provide support and work closely with the Architectural CSD and construction team, consultant engineers, subcontractors and local authorities to ensure the quality of the project, the completion on time and within budget;Assist with all station architectural construction activities;Assist the Station Manager during the interface between Civil, MEP and Architectural works, driving the subcontractors through the right sequences, guaranteeing the continuity of the operations;Understand best practices of job set-up and management, understand the critical path of decision making;Optimize between factors affecting timing, engineering cost, quality and constructability;Assist the Station Manager reviewing weekly job costs and formula project cost projections on bi-weekly basis and approve all subcontractor or material supplier invoices;Assist the Station Manager in leading the coordination meeting between subcontractors;Participate in safety meetings and training;Ensures subcontractor understands company QC Plan;Ensures subcontractor understands safety policy including OHSA;Ensures subcontractor understands Provincial and Federal legislation and union agreements;Build strong relationships with subcontractors and key vendors earning their respect, while at the same time treating them as partners and protecting the Company's interests;Possess confidence and ability to execute without significant oversight, but having an equal willingness and sense to seek input from supervisors, peers, and company experts when needed;Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrate the ability to build and manage a cohesive and effective team, with understanding of strengths and weaknesses of team members and using strengths of individuals and group to support the weaknesses.Delegate and monitor work and provide constructiveAble to oversee timely and fair punch list completion, resolve all "routine" change orders, timely delivery through close out submittals, leaving the customer with a positive view of Company

You shall be working on the Civil components that shall Underground Stations & Tunnels as well as at ground station & depot packages
Key requirements for the role:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar)Minimum 15 years of experience in Rail construction projectsPrevious Quality Management experience.Developing world experience (ideally South or South East Asia)
Salary Package:
The salary package on offer is in the region of $8-10,000 Tax free with a package.

Project
The infrastructure project is based in Oslo area and consist of the construction of 1.5 km-long tunnel that will serve as a new county road connection, linking existing major routes and providing improved access to surrounding areas. The project involves relocating a section of a key highway underground, enhancing traffic flow and reducing surface congestion in a densely populated urban municipality.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Project HSE Plan, emergency response procedures, and risk assessments.Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and hazard identification, with a focus on tunnelling and underground works.Monitor contractor compliance with local regulations and international HSE standardsCoordinate toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training for all site personnelMaintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and corrective actions, and support investigations.Oversee safety in blasting operations, ventilation systems, fire prevention, and other tunnel-specific risks.Collaborate closely with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and external safety inspectors.Ensure proper confined space protocols and rescue plans are in place and rehearsed.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a construction HSE role, with at least 2 years in tunnelling or underground infrastructure.In-depth knowledge of tunnel-specific hazards, such as drill & blast, rock support, air quality monitoring, and emergency evacuation.
