We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee water and wastewater operations in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring that all processes comply with relevant regulations and standards. You will lead a team of skilled professionals in the maintenance and repair of water and wastewater facilities, optimizing performance and efficiency while prioritizing safety and environmental sustainability.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies, conducting regular inspections of infrastructure, and coordinating maintenance schedules. You will also be tasked with managing budgets, preparing reports for regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and wastewater management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in water/wastewater operations. A valid state certification is required, and experience with project management and regulatory compliance will be considered an asset.
