You will coordinate project deliverables, manage technical risks, contribute to planning and approval processes, and ensure work is completed to relevant legislation, standards, and professional requirements. The role will also involve mentoring junior engineers, reviewing technical work, supporting proposals, managing client relationships, and presenting recommendations to clients, authorities, and other stakeholders.
Applicants should hold a degree in civil engineering, transport engineering, or a related discipline, together with substantial experience in traffic or transport engineering. Professional registration or progress towards professional accreditation is desirable. You will need strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles, road design standards, transport assessment methodologies, and relevant modelling or analytical software. Experience with tools such as SIDRA, VISSIM, LinSig, AutoCAD, or similar platforms will be advantageous.
