Experience using industry software such as SIDRA, VISSIM, AIMSUN, or equivalent tools will be highly regarded. You will review site conditions, assess traffic flows and risks, identify appropriate treatments, and ensure proposed arrangements meet relevant legislation, standards, permits and approval requirements. The role will also involve coordinating with clients, road authorities, emergency services, utilities and affected communities; attending site inspections and project meetings; responding to technical queries; reviewing contractor submissions; and monitoring implementation to ensure designs are delivered safely and effectively.

Applicants should hold a relevant degree or qualification in civil engineering, transport engineering, traffic engineering or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience in traffic management, roadworks, detours or temporary works. Senior-level candidates should have a strong record of managing technically complex projects and communicating recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge of applicable road safety, traffic control and work-zone standards is essential, along with experience using relevant design, modelling or drafting software. Strong analytical, organisational and written communication skills are required, as is the ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively and exercise sound professional judgement. A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel to project sites may also be required.
