We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through to completion. This role will involve providing technical leadership, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and client requirements. You will work across treatment, pumping, pipeline, drainage, and associated civil infrastructure projects, supporting both design development and construction delivery.

Key responsibilities will include managing engineering activities, reviewing designs and technical documentation, coordinating consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, and identifying and resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle. You will contribute to project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, procurement, commissioning, and handover. The successful candidate will also monitor quality, health and safety, environmental performance, and compliance with relevant standards. You will be expected to provide clear technical advice, prepare reports and progress updates, support commercial decision-making, and mentor less experienced engineers and project team members.

Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in civil, mechanical, environmental, water, wastewater, or a related engineering discipline, together with substantial experience delivering water or wastewater projects. Professional registration or chartered status is desirable.
