This role will oversee the installation, fabrication, testing, and commissioning of piping systems while maintaining a strong focus on productivity, compliance, and safe working practices.
Key responsibilities will include supervising piping contractors, foremen, technicians, and subcontractors; planning daily and weekly activities; allocating labour, tools, equipment, and materials; and monitoring progress against the project schedule. Applicants should have substantial experience supervising piping construction on industrial, energy, petrochemical, infrastructure, or similarly complex projects. A strong understanding of piping fabrication and installation, welding activities, supports, valves, pressure testing, QA/QC requirements, and relevant industry codes is essential. You should be able to interpret technical drawings and specifications, produce clear progress reports, and manage priorities in a fast-paced site environment. Proven leadership, communication, problem-solving, and contractor management skills are required, together with a commitment to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. A relevant technical qualification, trade certification, or equivalent practical experience is preferred. Availability to work on a project site and to support extended or rotational schedules may be required.
