Rail Chief Telecom Expert - High-Speed Rail India
We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Telecom Expert to lead the delivery and assurance of telecommunications systems on a landmark high-speed rail project in India.
This is a senior, client-facing leadership role responsible for ensuring the successful design, integration, and commissioning of mission-critical telecom systems, supporting safe and efficient railway operations to international standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design review and validation of telecom systems, including:Data Transmission Systems (DTS)Wireless NetworksCCTV & Security SystemsPassenger Information & Announcement Systems (PIDS/PAS)Master Clock, EPABX, Telecom SCADAOversee installation, integration, testing, and commissioning activitiesManage system interfaces with signalling, rolling stock, SCADA, and MEP systemsEnsure compliance with contract specifications, local regulations, and international standardsReview completed works and support payment certification processesAssist the client in statutory approvals and regulatory coordinationLiaise with key stakeholders, including independent safety assessors and authorities, to ensure successful project delivery
Key Requirements
Degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field); postgraduate qualification preferred25+ years' experience within rail or metro infrastructure projectsAt least 15 years' experience in railway telecom systemsProven experience as a lead telecom authority on high-speed or metro rail projectsExperience on high-speed rail schemes (250 km/h+), ideally within ETCS environmentsStrong background in system integration and multi-disciplinary coordination
Salary
The salary will be up to $13,000 per month (Tax Free) + Housing Provided

We are supporting a leading engineering consultancy on a major rail tunnel project in India and are seeking an experienced Tunnel Foreman with strong drill & blast expertise.
This is a hands‑on, site‑based role, supervising tunnel excavation activities and acting as a key interface between the Contractor, Client, and Engineering team.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and monitor tunnel excavation activities at the tunnel faceOversee drill & blast operations, excavation methods, and machinery usageMonitor work quality, programme progress, and safe construction practicesIdentify unsafe construction methods and escalate issues as requiredCoordinate closely with Site Engineers, Geologists, and discipline expertsSupport construction planning and reportingAssist with records, reporting, and billing support to the Project ManagerExperience & qualifications
