We are seeking a Civil Interface Engineer to coordinate the successful integration of civil engineering activities across a complex infrastructure or construction programme. The role will act as a key link between design teams, contractors, site personnel, utilities providers, stakeholders and other technical disciplines, ensuring that interfaces are clearly defined, managed and resolved throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include reviewing civil design information, specifications, drawings and construction methodologies; identifying and managing technical, programme and delivery interfaces; coordinating requirements between civil, structural, geotechnical, drainage, utilities and architectural disciplines; and monitoring the timely resolution of design queries, requests for information and technical issues. You will support design reviews, constructability assessments, risk workshops and change control processes, while maintaining accurate interface registers, action trackers and technical records. The role will also involve attending coordination meetings, providing clear progress updates, supporting site investigations and inspections, and working with delivery teams to ensure that works comply with approved designs, relevant standards, health and safety requirements and environmental commitments.
Applicants should have a degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, construction or a related discipline, together with relevant experience in civil engineering design, construction delivery, project engineering or interface management. Experience working on major infrastructure, transport, utilities, energy or building projects would be advantageous. You should be confident interpreting technical documentation and drawings, coordinating multiple stakeholders and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing demands are essential. Familiarity with design management processes, document control systems, risk management and common engineering standards is expected. Professional registration or progress towards professional accreditation would be desirable.

We are seeking an experienced RAMS Manager to lead the development, implementation and assurance of reliability, availability, maintainability and safety activities across complex engineering and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure that RAMS requirements are clearly defined, managed and demonstrated throughout the project lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, commissioning and operational handover.
Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining RAMS plans, strategies, cases, analyses and supporting documentation; establishing project requirements, acceptance criteria and performance targets; and coordinating hazard identification, risk assessment and mitigation activities. You will manage the production and review of safety-critical deliverables, including hazard logs, risk registers, FMECA, fault-tree analysis, reliability predictions, maintainability assessments and verification evidence. The role will involve working closely with engineering, project management, quality, assurance, testing and operations teams to ensure that risks and performance issues are identified early and effectively controlled.
You will also monitor progress against RAMS objectives, provide clear technical advice to internal and external stakeholders, and support audits, design reviews, safety committees and formal assurance activities. The role requires regular engagement with suppliers, contractors, clients and relevant authorities, as well as the ability to present complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Applicants should have significant experience in RAMS, systems assurance, safety engineering or a closely related discipline, ideally within rail, transport, defence, aerospace, energy or another regulated environment. A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, science or risk management is desirable, together with knowledge of applicable safety standards, lifecycle processes and assurance frameworks. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the confidence to influence decisions and promote a proactive safety culture.
