We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion. This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality and environmental standards. Projects may include treatment facilities, pumping stations, pipelines, networks, reservoirs, and associated civil, mechanical, and electrical works.

Key responsibilities will include developing project programmes, budgets, procurement strategies, risk registers, and delivery plans; coordinating design teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and operational stakeholders; and monitoring progress against agreed milestones and performance measures. You will manage change control, commercial performance, reporting, documentation, and contract administration, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, specifications, health and safety requirements, and environmental obligations. The role will also involve identifying and resolving technical, construction, and operational issues, leading progress meetings, and maintaining clear communication with all project stakeholders.

Applicants should have proven experience managing water, wastewater, utilities, or other complex infrastructure projects, ideally from concept and design through construction and commissioning. A strong understanding of construction methodology, project controls, risk management, procurement, and contract management is essential, together with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and commercial information. A relevant qualification in civil engineering, construction, project management, or a related discipline is desirable, and professional accreditation would be advantageous. You will be commercially aware, highly organised, and confident making decisions in a demanding project environment. Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills are required, along with a commitment to safe, collaborative, and sustainable project delivery.
