We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cultural Resources Monitor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and documenting cultural resource management activities on various projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will conduct field surveys, monitor excavation activities, and assess archaeological sites, while working collaboratively with project managers and environmental teams to develop strategies that protect and preserve cultural heritage. Your keen observational skills will be essential in identifying artifacts, historical features, and other significant cultural resources during project development.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field, with experience in cultural resource management practices. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, along with relevant fieldwork experience. You should be familiar with the National Historic Preservation Act and other pertinent laws governing cultural resources. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will prepare detailed reports and interact with diverse stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and indigenous communities. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites are necessary for this position.
