Job Title: Training Development Manager

Location: Remote
Contract Type: Freelance Contract
Duration: 3 months, with potential extension


About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Training Development Manager to lead the creation of a global training programme focused on operational leadership roles. This strategic role will help shape the future of leadership capability by defining skill requirements, identifying soft skill and leadership gaps, and delivering targeted training content for various operational positions.

This initiative aims to close existing knowledge and competency gaps, enhance leadership performance, and support long-term employee engagement and retention.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of training for key modules:

    • Introduction to Service

    • Software Access Management

  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to define training needs and develop engaging, relevant content

  • Coordinate SME availability and capacity to ensure timely content delivery

  • Create templates, collect training information, and ensure materials are in suitable formats

  • Develop a comprehensive training path and timeline, monitoring milestones and deliverables

  • Flag potential issues early and work proactively with stakeholders to resolve them

  • Provide regular progress updates to project leadership

  • Support project leads with ad hoc requirements related to training strategy and implementation


Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years' project management experience, preferably in training or learning & development

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders and departments

  • Excellent understanding of training development processes, including soft skill and leadership training

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Experience working in multinational, matrixed, and culturally diverse environments

  • High level of cultural sensitivity and adaptability

  • Fluent English (oral and written)


Desirable

  • Experience in e-learning or digital training development

  • Background working with operational roles such as Area Service Managers (ASM), Local Operations Managers (LOM), Coordinators, or Lead Technicians
