Job Title: Wind Electrical Installation Supervisor

Role Summary

During the project installation/finishing phase you have the responsibility to supervise and control mainly but not only the electrical works executed at site by the subcontractor in matter of:
Fulfillment and respect of the HSE requirement at site and to intervene should the requirements not be respected or fulfilled
Quantity and quality of the electrical work in accordance with the related instructions
Timely completion of the work to ensure a proper commissioning of the wind turbine

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Give guidance to the subcontracted parties involved in installation and finishing
  2. Check of proper electrical installations
  3. Initiate corrective actions aimed to eliminate defects and to be executed by the subcontractor
  4. Control of correctness and completeness of site related reports
  5. Collect and forward technical specifications
  6. Report the status of site activities
  7. Execution of the quality check on site including reporting
  8. Active participation at the site meeting on site (toolbox talk)
  9. Notification of defective or missing parts to the site manager with the purpose of replacement of these parts

Qualifications/Requirements/Skills:

  1. Completed vocational training in Electronics or similar field
  2. Equivalent UK NVQ level 3 electrotechnical
  3. UK 18th edition wiring regulations
  4. Profound knowledge and experience in Low and Mid-Voltage
  5. Several years of vocational experience as Electrician on wind farms and a depth technical
  6. knowledge of wind turbines
  7. Good English language skills (read, write and speak fluently)
  8. Project Management Skills
  9. Clear judgment and result focused
  10. Ability to solve problems
  11. Able to work in or lead a team
  12. Willingness to travel without restrictions
  13. Used to work at heights
  14. Resilience & tolerance of frustration
  15. Readiness for training
  16. Good computer skills are required, especially MS Office
  17. International car driving license
