Civil Hydropower Design and Construction Engineer - Pumped Storage Hydropower - Romania
For major Pumped Storage Hydropower Project in Romania my client is seeking Civil Hydropower Engineer ( Design & Constriction).
GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Civil engineer with experience in structural design and construction supervision for hydropower and pumped storage projects, specializing in civil structures such as upper reservoirs, excavations, vertical shafts, tunnels, underground cavern structures, intakes, and basic facilities.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The work plan, design review, project scheduling, and construction supervision of all site works and the collection and analysis of construction drawings, the Inspection Test Program (ITP), and construction data from the construction site.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design review of civil hydraulic, structural, geotechnical works, slope protection works, site establishment works,
- Experience in the construction of hydraulic works and commissioning
- Review and provide all HSE tasks,
- Supervise head Contractors' issuance of interim payment certificates and invoices.
- verify the work assigned to civil contractors for accuracy, proper work methods, techniques, and compliance with applicable standards and specifications
- Perform work plans and schedules
- Support work interface with Head Contractor from HME and E&M suppliers
- Prepare and oversee the employer requirements and technical specifications
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of engineering reports
- Review various construction plans, maps, reports, applications, and various development and construction agreements.
- Determine design procedures; interpret the application of design criteria.
- Prepare preliminary and final project cost estimates.
- Inspect compliance with project specifications, time, and budget parameters.
- Review project development plans and make recommendations regarding design and constructability
- Perform any other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of a master's degree in civil engineering
- 25+ years of experience with design and supervision activities in the field of hydropower projects
- Desired Computer/Software Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), AutoCAD, SAP2000, and CADDAM
SALARY PACKAGE
- Upto 10,000 USD Per Month
