Rail Project Manager (E&M & Rolling Stock) - Philippines

A leading international consultancy consortium supporting a major railway infrastructure project is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Electro-Mechanical Systems & Rolling Stock to provide leadership across the design, procurement, integration, and construction supervision phases of a high-profile rail project.

This is a senior position requiring a strong background in railway systems engineering, multidisciplinary coordination, and project delivery within complex rail environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery and supervision of Electro-Mechanical (E&M) and Rolling Stock packages.Coordinate interfaces between signalling, telecommunications, power supply, traction power, SCADA, depot systems, and rolling stock.Manage contractors, consultants, and stakeholders throughout project execution.Oversee design reviews, construction supervision activities, testing and commissioning programmes.Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, and project schedules.Support contract administration and project reporting in accordance with FIDIC requirements.Drive system integration activities between railway subsystems to ensure successful project delivery.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

Minimum 12 years' experience within the railway industry.At least 10 years' experience in the design and/or construction supervision of railway projects in one or more of the following disciplines:Rolling StockElectro-Mechanical SystemsSignalling SystemsProven experience acting as a Railway Systems Integrator on at least one railway project during tender assistance and construction supervision phases.Experience on projects with contract values exceeding USD 50 million for relevant railway systems packages.Strong knowledge and practical experience working under FIDIC Yellow Book contracts.Excellent stakeholder management and multidisciplinary coordination skills.Degree qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.

Highly Desirable

The client will particularly value candidates with:

Experience on projects financed through Official Development Assistance (ODA) funding.Experience delivering railway projects in developing countries or emerging markets.Professional training, technical publications, conference presentations, or recognised industry contributions.International railway project experience across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, or Latin America.

Salary

The salary will be up to $14,000 per month (Tax Free) with allowances for accommodation, living etc.

Dein Profil
