We are seeking a motivated and experienced Water Resources Engineering Team Leader to oversee our team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for managing water resources projects, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations, and providing innovative solutions for sustainable water management. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development. Your expertise will be critical in designing, implementing, and evaluating water resource systems, including stormwater management, flood control, and hydrology assessments.

The successful candidate will also be tasked with client relationship management, preparing technical reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders. You will coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be responsible for mentoring junior staff, conducting project reviews, and facilitating workshops. A thorough understanding of hydrological modeling software and experience with GIS applications will be beneficial in this position.

To thrive in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in water resources engineering is required, along with proven leadership capabilities.
