We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Superintendent of Water Resources to oversee the management, operation, and maintenance of water resource systems in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while implementing best practices in water management. Key duties include directing water treatment operations, developing and managing budgets, and supervising staff to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The Superintendent will also be expected to engage with community stakeholders and provide technical guidance on water resource issues.

Qualified candidates should possess a strong background in water resource management, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, civil engineering, or a related field is required, along with several years of progressive experience in water treatment or resource management. Familiarity with regulatory requirements, as well as experience in project management and strategic planning, will be essential for success in this role. The Superintendent will be expected to develop and implement long-term plans for water resource sustainability, while ensuring the safety and quality of water services provided to the community.
